During this felting day, you felt a large 3-meter silk fabric that you painted during the 2-day workshop, with 3 meters of wool.
When felting the silk with the wool, we use a felting machine that takes the heavy work off your hands. The wool we use is so-called pre-felt - a lightly felted wool - which can be ordered in various colours*. The starting size is 300x120 cm. The felting process shrinks the wool by approximately 25%. A flexible and strong felt material is created, suitable for a throw, shawl, tapestry or fabric for making clothing.
A maximum of 2 people can participate in a felting day. With the participation of 1 person, the workshop lasts half a day.
The costs of this felting day are Euro 150.00 per person.
Included: use of the felting machine, coffee/tea with something sweet.
Not included: 3 meters of pre-felt and lunch.
