Small works of art filled with colour, texture and unexpected details
Fragments is a series of unique felt art panels, each measuring 18 × 18 cm. Each piece begins with hand-painted silk, which is then felted with wool. This process creates beautiful textures, layered colours and unexpected patterns. Every panel has its own character.
The felted silk is mounted onto a wooden panel. The pieces look beautiful on their own, but can also be combined to create a colourful arrangement. Together, they reveal new connections, contrasts and details.
Each Fragment is unique and available at my shop and studio in Deventer, the Netherlands.
