For a wooden house surrounded by forest, I created a grand foulard and a matching set of cushions. The client wished for something that would reflect the natural surroundings and harmonize with a yellow-green sofa in their living space.
I designed a digital pattern inspired by tree roots, which was printed on silk and felted with wool – a handcrafted process that gives the piece a rich, tactile quality. The matching cushions feature variations of the same design, creating a subtle, cohesive whole.
This one-of-a-kind commission blends material, colour, and atmosphere into a warm and natural expression of the client’s personal space.
