Would you like to try silk painting on a big size frame?

14 July 2018

Discover the creativity within you and learn about the surprising possibilities of silk-painting one step at a time.

The workshops leave a lot of room for experimenting, so you will be free to endlessly get to work on samples of silk fabrics, or you can focus on creating a specific final product, like a smooth silk scarf.

Courses spread across several days will enable you to work on a multitude of scarves or silk fabrics for clothing or interior, possibly felted with wool for a grand foulard, a shawl or woollen fabrics for the same purpose.

During the workshops you will learn what the effects are of working with transparent layers, how to allow the paint to flow, but also how to stop it. You will be introduced to working with brushes, stencils, stamps and other tools. But most of all, you will learn to intuitively fill a white silk sheet with colour and shape.
