In the beautiful studio of milliner Tracy Chaplin, I will be teaching silk painting for a week from 18 to 23 May 2025.
The workshop offers a great deal of freedom to experiment. For example, you can get started with painting samples on silk fabrics. Or work towards a final product, such as beautiful, supple silk scarves, paintings or fabric for clothing. You will learn how to let the paint flow and how to stop it. You will learn how to mix colours and many techniques that you can apply to silk.
The workshop is given in Alan, a beautiful area in the South of France. You do not need any experience to participate.
