The masterclass Artful Objects 3 will start in November 2026. An inspiring collaboration between Zsófia Marx and Ellen Bakker. In this masterclass, we will once again explore the magical combination of hand-painted silk and felt — two disciplines that enrich each other and together open up a world of creative possibilities.
During this intensive and experimental masterclass, Ellen will guide you step by step through her approach to silk painting. You’ll learn to experiment with colour, line, and structure, and discover how to develop your own visual language through intuitive brushstrokes. While there is room for technique, there’s also a strong focus on personal expression and the creative process.
Zsófia will then show you how to felt the painted silk together with wool, creating three-dimensional, sculptural objects. The interaction between silk and wool results in pieces that are both powerful and poetic — with a unique character and visual language of their own.
The masterclass includes live sessions, clear video lessons, and inspiring assignments. During the coaching sessions and in the private Facebook group, there will be ample opportunity for feedback, exchange, and personal guidance. All sessions are recorded, allowing you to work at your own pace. No previous experience is required — curiosity and a willingness to experiment are all you need!
Together, we will create textile objects that tell a story — full of colour, texture, and personal signature. Objects that surprise, move, and inspire.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellations can be made free of charge up to 28 days before the start of the workshop.
For cancellations made between 14 and 28 days before the start of the workshop, 50% of the participation fee will be refunded.
For cancellations made within 14 days of the start of the workshop, no refund will be given.
If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your place to someone else. Please inform us in advance by email.
The workshop date is used as the reference point for these terms.
